Italy and Japan close despite being more than nine thousand kilometers
Tedone's agricultural farm comes about from the desire of a young boy, Francesco Tedone, to connect two profoundly different cultures, yet linked by an invisible thread: Corato and Ōita, Italy and Japan, nine thousand and more kilometres apart. From here the name of our oil, Novemilachilometri. With Francesco's death in 2016, the family decided to carry on his dream, leading to the birth of the Association first, and then the Agricultural farm in 2019.

The ancient tradition of olive harvesting and oil production
The Tedone's Agricultural farm was born in Corato, but it is looking far beyond, with the desire to bring its products to the Japan so loved by Francesco.
Corato is located in the beautiful Puglia countryside, where the young Tedone's Farm carries on the ancient tradition of olive harvesting, from trees handed down from generation to generation, from father to son and from father to daughter.
Although young, this small family-run business produces an excellent extra-virgin olive oil of the 'coratina' variety, named after the city of Corato, an olive cultivar native to the North of Bari, of medium size and with a very expansive foliage, in lands located in the uncontaminated outskirts of the town.
The Farm works by following traditional pruning and harvesting techniques, without using pesticides that are harmful to humans and the land, and above all by extracting the oil through milling technologies that prevent the oil paste from exceeding 24 degrees, in order not to affect the organoleptic and beneficial properties of the oil.
So, in expert and competent hands, our “Novemilachilometri” oil remains a genuine and natural product.
